  • This music videos features many qualities that our group wish to take into our production when it comes to filming an editing.
  • The darkness is a key impact this video has, allowing the main focus to be on the artist with some low-key lighting surrounding them, giving me the idea to film at night and trying to concentrate the audiences attention on the main artist by shining light.
  • For mise-en-scene, the characters wear black tracksuits, which links with the dark background and supports the music genre as each artist expresses what they want.
  • Further, the use of props add a comedic value to the song, something we want to consider when filming.
  • In many of the shots, the main character is in the middle section of the frame. This causes the focus to be sustained on the artist.
  • There are Close Up's of the main artists which allows us to see more of their emotions and feel more connected to their character.

  1. Well done Louis - this is L4 analysis; relevant, thorough, you considered technical codes and how they are used to present the artist's performance. If you are interested in doing a studio performance as part of your video, I would recomnmend doing some test shots before the pitch; as making it authentic will be crucial. Well done.
